We were delighted to see our founder and CEO, John F. Concannon, featured on Newstalk’s Down To Business with Bobby Kerr in the Executive Chair segment.

During the wide-ranging conversation, John shared the story behind the JFC Group,  how a local idea evolved into a global business, built on innovation, customer focus, and a deep-rooted commitment to quality. From our humble beginnings in Tuam, Co. Galway, to serving customers in over 50 countries, JFC’s journey has always been guided by a spirit of problem-solving and partnership.

John spoke about the importance of staying close to our customers’ needs, understanding their challenges and working together to develop smart, durable solutions. Whether in agriculture, civil, or material handling, innovation remains at the heart of everything we do.

He also reflected on the lessons learned along the way, the ups, the downs, and the belief that “if you don’t keep evolving, you’re going backwards. At JFC, we pride ourselves on staying agile and embracing change, while never losing sight of who we are and where we’ve come from.
